Mountain Oven Flameless Heating Kit, Mountain House entrees are even easier to prepare.  You no longer
need a stove or matches.  Everything required to heat Mountain House products is contained in this kit.
  All you add is water.  This kit will heat any of the Mountain House stand up pouches requiring boiling
water, but instead of adding boiling water, you add potable (drinking) water.

The Mountain Oven Flameless Heating Kit is specifically designed to heat Mountain House products. The
inner-preparation pouch fits neatly inside the Mountain Oven.  The Mountain Oven heats Mountain House
products in 15 to 20 minutes without stove, fuel, or flame.  Just add potable (drinking) water to Mountain
House entrees.  The Mountain Oven heating process increases starting water temperature by about 100°F.

Directions for using the Mountain Oven:

1.  Follow Mountain House pouch instructions, but use potable (drinking) water instead of boiling water.

 

 

2.  Place one heat pad flat in the bottom of the reusable zipper bag.  Fill plastic bottle with water to fill line and add one salt tablet.  Shake bottle until salt tablet dissolves.  Pour water from bottle into bag.

 

 

3.  Set Mountain House food pouch upright inside bag.  Close zipper on bag. Wait 15 to 20 minutes until steam stops.  Carefully open bag and remove your Mountain House product.  Stir and Serve.
